A sleek looking rear end with it's minimalist design but also allows the re-use of the original indicators
About quality and texture - The fender eliminator kit from R&G is made from aluminium and painted with a black surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The fender eliminator kit not only gives the Grom a sleek looking rear end with it's minimalist design but also allows the re-use of the original indicators which was an important factor for me.Products to buy together - While in the process of improving the appearance of the Grom but deciding to continue using the original indicators, a key product to improve the appearance of those indicators would be a front and rear tinited lens kit .Difficulty of installation - The installation of the fender eliminator kit is a intermediate task that took 1.0 hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to mount the bracket to the frame.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products R&G sell to be higher then what most other companies sell their products for and the fender eliminator kit is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no signifiant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the fender eliminator kit, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. From service parts to performance products and even motorcycle gear and apparel, Webike always seem to satisfy my needs in regards to availability and pricing.
Very happy with the look of my Honda Grom with the R&G fender eliminator kit now fitted. I am not waiting to change too much on my Grom as I do like the look of this motorcycle but the Honda OEM fender had to go. I chose to purchase the kit that retains the Honda OEM indicators as I prefer larger indicators that other drivers can see easily. The pricing from R&G is high compared to other brands but it does come with all the required parts for a successful installation. Installation was a little dificult at times and I did need a hand from my partner to get it completed. My grom looks great now and the only downside to fitting this part is when you ride in the rain you will have some water from the rear tyre flicking up onto you.View Detail
It was decided to get a smaller and more functional eliminator and one we went for was the R&G branded one. I have recently used many of these kits for various bikes from R&G. I found the part by coincidence really whilst browsing through Webike R&G section. This looked a nice small and neat package so went for it anyway. This was added to my basket and order placed along with some other parts to keep the shipping low and spread out for the whole order. All arrived in 5 days. Yes, I suppose I could buy from R&G in the UK but there is relatively no price difference anyway plus, I already had items I wanted to order from Webike anyway. The eliminator or tail tidy as we call them here in the UK was packaged in a R&G box and then Webike packed all my other items in the outer box. Filled with bubble wrap, nothing could get damaged in transit. The tail tidy is a really good looking piece of kit. The paint is smooth and even and there are no sharp sections to catch you out. It is precision made and everything fitted together really easily. It comes with everything you would need for it to be legal on UK roads including the number plate light. The spacing for the indicators is perfect once everything was fitted. Finished in no time, just a couple of connectors and away you go. The harder part was putting everything back together. Very pleased with how the bike looks now with it being so much smaller. Thanks Webike. View Detail
I do understand why most manufacturers put massive fender eliminators on their bikes from factory. But come on, no one wants a long part hanging off the back of their bike like that. A bit more of the sprucing up and service of the MT07 I have in the garage. As with most manufacturers, Yamaha put massive fender eliminators on their bikes from factory. It was decided to get a smaller and more functional eliminator and one we went for was the R&G branded one. I found the part by coincidence really whilst browsing through Webike R&G section. This looked a nice small and neat package and would go with the overall look of the MT07 so went for this one. Fender eliminators are always one of the first thing I get for any new bike and this Hayabus was no exception. The OEM fenders that come on these bikes are massive and totally make the bike look just nasty. I am not knocking Suzuki as this is how they have to operate and fit to new bikes, but for the lve of god guys, make them less bulky. I have used R&G fender eliminators a lot recently as they are just cracking kits to use and fit and do make the bikes they are fitted to look a lot better. Finding the right eliminator was super easy as I just checked on R&G website and narrowed down with the model select. This eliminator was really good value too which also helps. With a few other smaller parts I had them shipped together to save on a bit of the shipping cost. EMS is my chosen couirer as my order arrive very fast and this was no exception, in 5 days my order was at my door. This was packaged really well and came in an R&G box with all instructions and parts needed to swap this out. It even came with a small number plate light so you literally have nothing else to buy. The paint on this is a nice satin black which would also make the eliminator sort of disappear into the background. The machine work is excellent and I had no complaints at all. Fitting is really simple, you have a good set of instructions to guide you along the way. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase and the bike looks a heck of a lot better now than it did. Thanks Webike for providing an excellent service throughout. View Detail
About quality and texture - The super head 4-Valve O-Ring set from SP Takegawa is made from soft rubber, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - Unique design/shaped O-Rings that were necessary for me to purchase when piecing together parts for my engine overhaul as the original O-Rings were weeping oil from the 4 valve cylinder head and soiling my oil cooler and exhaust pipe.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase when freshening up the top end of the engine is a new gasket set as it is far from advised to reassemble this area with used gaskets and the snap ring used in this area is also advised to replace.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the super head 4-Valve O-Ring set is an simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Common sense is all that is required to secure the O-Ring to the cylinder covers and tighen to the required torque value.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the super head 4-Valve O-Ring set no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the super head 4-Valve O-Ring set, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. About quality and texture - The oil filter element from Honda is made using steel, paper and rubber, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The find these oil filters ideal to use with the SP Takegawa clutch cover that I have installed on my Monkey 125. A much cheaper option with no loss in quality.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase when performing scheluled maintenance on the engine is new O-Rings for the valve inspection covers as they tend to also leak over time when removing the covers for the valve clearance checks.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the oil filer element is an simple task that took 0.1 of an hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools are required to install the oil filter into the filter housing on the SP Takegawa clutch cover.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the oil filter element is no differentAbout shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the oil filter element, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. About quality and texture - The heel plates from G-Craft are made from aluminium sheet that is shaped from bending and with a high polished surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The look of the heel plates are impressive when compared to the OEM black finished parts they cover. More appropriately styled for the Monkey 125, a real classic looking part.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase to add more appropriately styling to the Monkey 125 is the chain cover from G-Craft, that maintains all the features of the OEM chain cover but vastly improves the look due to the styling and finish.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the heel plates is a simple task that took 0.2 of an hour to complete. Some common sense and the use of isopropyl alcohol wipes is all that is required to secure the heel plates with the included double sided tape.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products G-Craft sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the heel plates are no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the heel plates, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date. About quality and texture - The meter bracket from SP Takegawa is made from steel with a black painted surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - A DN tachometer bracket specifically fabricated to connect directly to the speedometer mounts on the Monkey 125. The meter bracket perfectly aligns the two meters and is quite rigid to minimise vibration while riding.Products to buy together - An ideal product to purchase when mounting a DN tachometer would have to a meter visor kit. Not only offer some protection for the two meters but also improving the looks and aerodymanics.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the meter bracket is an simple task that took 0.5 of an hour complete. About quality and texture - The accelerator spacers from G-Craft are made from billet aluminum with precision machining and a silver anodized surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The OEM axle spacers were starting to make the rest of the Monkey 125 look bad after replacing nearly all of the other cheaper quality OEM parts. After shopping around these are by far the best looking axle spacers available for the Monkey 125.Products to buy together - While removing the front and rear wheels to fit the accelerator spacers, I considered it the ideal time to also fit Kitaco front and rear axles with a lighter hollow axle shaft then the OEM axles.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the accelerator spacers is an intermediate task that took 1.0 hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to remove the front and rear wheels from the fork legs and swing arm and place the accelerator spacers into dust seals before installing the axle shafts.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products G-Craft sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for but in the case of the accelerator spacers, they are more expensive.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the accelerator spacers, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date.
