These were other part that was for a ZX-10R I got in from a customer. This time it is the front brake pads for the bike as the old ones were well beyond their usage. I did change the rear pads on this service too as they were not the best shape. Usually on these bigger bikes, the front need changing twice as often as the rear anyway but the rear was not changed last service, so it was time. Finding the right ones was easy but checking on Kawasaki schematics and then searching for this part number on Webike. Luckily, they had a set in their warehouse and so added to my order. EMS shipped my order and all arrived in perfect condition in 5 days from being shipped. Everything was well padded out in the box so there was no damage. These pads are Kawasaki pads and do last quite a while, probably longer than these should have as the customer clearly prefers the front brake to the rear. The pad material is even and looks pretty tasty for a small bike. Perhaps not sintered but they do have some heavy compound in them. I have not had one of these bikes in for quite some time now. This came in for a service to the calipers and replacement brake pads. Not a massive job but very important none the less. Finding the right pads for this old girl was not too bad as I just used the tools on the help pages Webike provide. I also cross referenced with Kawasaki schematics for my own peace of mind. The pads were really good value and a lot cheaper than I could source locally. Shipping was awesome, and EMS got my package delivered in 5 days. The pads were well wrapped and packaged and no damage at all was sustained during transit. They came in the Kawasaki packaging also. They are nothing really to look at but the test will be after fitting and bedding for a couple of hundred miles or so. Top quality brake pads from one of the top manufacturers. I have not had one of these bikes in before as it is an import from the USA. Still, bikes are bikes when it comes to brake pads. It just means that sourcing some pads is a little trickier than normal. This was the case here. I really struggled to find the pads needed for this bike and so I checked Webike and was pleasantly surprised they stock them. Happy days. Once you know the model and year, searching Webike website is child's play. The brake pads were excellent value and obviously worked out a lot cheaper than importing from the USA. I had these pads shipped using EMS and my order arrived in 5 days. The pads did come in the Kawasaki packaging but were also wrapped well to stop any damage to other parts in my order. These pads are OEM quality from Kawasaki and so you just know they are good to go. They do look like they have some sinter material in them but for this bike, these will do nicely. This Ninja came in and needed some new front brake pads. No point in going silly and getting after market ones as the OEM Kawasaki ones will be more that ample for this bike. It was decided then to get the Genuine Kawasaki brake pads so I looked on Webike and they had them in stock. I purchased the front set but the rear were just fine for at least a few hundred miles yet. Finding the correct ones was pretty easy using the help pages and cross referencing Kawasaki schematics. The price Webike had the for was very good value for money for genuine Kawasaki pads. With a few other items in my basket, shipping was spread out so was also very reasonable. The order took 5 days to arrive here in the UK. Everything was packed really well and no damage at all. After removing the old pads, they were defintiely needed as there was very little left. The rear pads on ER6F were looking pretty bad and due for a change. We decided to get both front and back geniune Kawasaki pads as this is a good set for a bike like this. The price Webike had them listed for was brilliant, great value for money for genuine Kawasaki pads. Found the correct ones using the help pages and cross referencing via Kawasaki schematics. With a few other parts included in the order, shipped via EMS. All arrive in one piece in 5 days. Very well packed and no signs of any damage. The genuine Kawasaki pads for this bike are perfect. No need to go and buy any other than these as they are 100% and last a long time. They got fitted really easily and now the front and this set of rear pads are now perfect. One of my springs for the Akrapovic exhaust took a little damage due to a rock in the road. There was no saving that one so I decided to buy a few spares for it. I found the right length by checking Webike site and found the correct ones to replace. The price from Webike was really good value and as I was already ordering other parts, the shipping cost was a lot less that anticipated. I use EMS as they just get my orders to me fast. In 5 days from shipping, the springs arrived. They were well packaged by Webike and were inside a bubble wrap envelope too. The springs measured exactly what I needed for the replacement. The quality is superb and look such a good set of springs. The rubber sleeves are well made and the logo is loud and proud on them. The actual spring is a tough one and takes a bit of force to get it attached to the mount points. This is good in my opinion as you do not want them popping off during a ride out. As with a lot of these older bikes, at some point you just want to spruce them up a bit. This is where we are at with this YZF-R1 2010 model. The crankcase covers were not too great and getting them replaced and not just repainting was a far cheaper alternative. I found the right part number by checking Yamaha schematics and then inputting that on Webike website. The price Webike had this for was fantastic value for money and better than I could source locally. After adding to my basket, the other parts I needed to order for this bike were all shipped together. This saved on shipping costs and I know that all the parts I need for this job would arrive tat the same time. After only 5 days my order arrived in the UK. The parts were all professionally packaged and there was no signs of damage to the box or contents. This crankcase cover was inside a sturdy Yamaha box. The finish on the cover was a lovely satin black which seems to be the norm for most Yamaha covers. The workmanship on this crankcase cover is excellent but you would not expect anything other than that from Yamaha. A great Japanese company. This thing of beauty came in with a lever holder issue where it had eventually given up the ghost and snapped at the wire input slot. Not really an issue as you can still buy the replacements and are OEM. Finding the right one was a little tricky but eventually I got there. Webike did stock these which was great news and the price was ridiculously cheap. Along with some other parts in my order, I got them all shipped using EMS, which is now my preferred courier. They just get the job done fast. 5 days after being shipped my order arrived. All the parts were free from any damage and were in perfect order. This lever holder is nothing too special but it also holds the clutch cable and so needed to be right. It has a nice satin black painted finish, all the threaded holes are well machined and it went onto the bars really easily. The time consuming part is removing all the switch gear to get this put on. At the time of inspecting this bike as it was due for the MOT, I found that not only was the belt toast but the disc brake was also in need of attention. Upon closer inspection, I found after precisely measuring the tolerances that the disc was beyond it's life. No problem, I can order one from Webike. Finding the right one for this model and year was easy enough using the schematics section on Yamaha website. The part did however fit the other smaller version too so readily available. The price Webike had this for on sale was great and far better than I could source locally from the dealer. Along with some other small parts I had them all shipped using EMS. In 5b days my order arrived. Perfect condition with no problems at all. The disc was well packaged inside the Yamaha box and protected with bubble wrap that I assume Webike applied. The disc itself is a stunning piece of machining. The tolerances after checking are 100% spot on to what they should be from new. The disc face is super well machined and there was no swarf or dust from this process inside the box. Very happy customer right here. Fitted in no time and on the road by the end of the day. So, this bike was in for a small check over and the owner wanted to get a protector for the screen. These do eventually get scratched so if you can stop that from happening in the first place, it's a good idea. Finding that Kawasaki actually make a genuine one for this bike was truly surprising. Anyway, finding the right one for this bike was straight forward by using the schematics for this model and year. Although the price is a little higher than some after market ones you could buy, why risk that when Kawasaki have put the time and effort into making one specifically for this model. No doubt, it will also be more hard wearing than after market ones too. Along with a couple of other smaller parts I needed, I got them al shipped using my preferred courier, EMS. They just get the orders delivered fast and with no hassle. In 5 days, my order arrived. The screen protector arrived in the Kawasaki packaging and was also kept nice and flat by Webike warehouse by adding a piece of cardboard. Very nice. The screen protector was very god quality and not as flimsy as I imagined it to be. It is a pretty tough addition. Easy to fit and does have a very slight tint to it.
