This bike came in for some much needed maintenance and to find out why there was a weird knocking from under the fuel tank. After some careful inspection, it was found that the original mold that help prevent vibration from teh fuel tank to the frame had been torn and deteriorated somewhat. The only reasonable solution was to get a new mold for it. It is essentially some thick shock absorbing foam. Not totally unique but worth the effort to refit some new to remove the origianl issue with vibration. Finding the correct damper part number was super easy by using the tools Webike provide from their help pages with links to big manufacturer websites and schematics etc. Easy really. The price from Webike was better than my local Yamaha dealer could do and along with some other parts for this bike, I had them all shipped together to save some money. EMS was teh courier I used as they just get the job done right first time. My entire order arrived in 5 days from order shipping. Perfect. The part came in the generic Yamaha packet. The foam/damper is a nice flexible piece. Seems to be more rigid than standard damper foam and worth the money to get OEM in my eyes. I even used the one full piece in 2 sections for either side of the fuel tank. There is some excess for just the one side anyway. Worked a treat and now there is zero vibration or sound when riding. These were the nuts for the frame bolt that also needed changing for this bike to be in a better road worty condition. I had already got the bolts in the order so it made sense to buy the nuts to go with them. No point using old, probaly damaged nuts for this project. It just makes sense to buy new. I founf the correct nut by usng the tools provided and the help sections on Webike website. I usually cross rerference anyway just for my own peace of mind. As with most of the bolts and nuts in my order, I found they are a really good cost effective way of sorting a bike out. Why go for cheap after market nuts and bolts when you can get the genuin yamaha ones for a really good outlay. With the other bolts and parts, I had them delivered by EMS in 5 days from shipping. Everything was well packed and the extra care Webike use, was exceptional. The nuts are perfect, very well machined and clean from any extra metal flakes or shard that could compromise the efficiency of the torque needed. Very pleased with the service and the parts. These were another set of new Yamaha bolts that were needed to get this bike into better shape than it came into my shop in. These were a more essential set of bolts as they hold the front bracket to the actual frame. No idea how they got so messed up but they sure needed changing. Finding the parts were not hard as I used Webike help pages and links they provide. The cost of the bolts was really good value for what is an important bolt. With the other parts needed to sort out this bike already in my basket. I got all them shipped using EMS and after shipping, all arrived in 5 days. The packaging was excellent and Webike took the care and time to pack the smaller parts into bubble wrap envelopes. Althpugh the bolt came in a Yamaha packet, it was still inside the extra envelope. Really nice touch there Webike. The bolt has a long shaft and the half threads are perfect. No notchiness when installing. The threads were crisp and clean from contaminants too. This was just a generic set of bolts I wanted to get for the YZF-R6 foot rest I have sat in my garage. I decided to go for the OEM for these parts as they are strong, work well and stand the test of time in regards to the appearance. They were not hard to find as they literally fit most Yamaha models for one thing or another. They were part of a larger order and all shipped together to save on shipping. My package arrived in 5 days via EMS and everything was well packaged, even these small bolts. The threads are super clean, easily fitted and smooth as silk on the install. This was one other part that was missing when we were putting this old track bike back on the road. The seat cover. Finding the right part for this year and model was straight forward enough. Once I found this I realised that Webike is the best company ever by far. The price was so much cheaper than I could ever source locally and I doubt I would get a second hand part for anywhere near the same money. I had this shipped along with a few other parts and all were shipped using my preferred courier. EMS, the order was delivered in 5 days from being shipped. The seat cover came in the Kawasaki box as it needed to be protected and in a box is the best way. It was also wrapped in poly material to help with any bump during transit. Upon receipt I checked all the parts and there was no damage to anything and all was perfect. The seat cover is a gorgeous glossy black and will looks superb once fitted. The finish is flawless and the quality from Kawasaki is just spot on. Honestly, I could not be happier with this seat cover and it is not even going on my bike. These were other part that was for a ZX-10R I got in from a customer. This time it is the front brake pads for the bike as the old ones were well beyond their usage. I did change the rear pads on this service too as they were not the best shape. Usually on these bigger bikes, the front need changing twice as often as the rear anyway but the rear was not changed last service, so it was time. Finding the right ones was easy but checking on Kawasaki schematics and then searching for this part number on Webike. Luckily, they had a set in their warehouse and so added to my order. EMS shipped my order and all arrived in perfect condition in 5 days from being shipped. Everything was well padded out in the box so there was no damage. These pads are Kawasaki pads and do last quite a while, probably longer than these should have as the customer clearly prefers the front brake to the rear. The pad material is even and looks pretty tasty for a small bike. Perhaps not sintered but they do have some heavy compound in them. This is one of the steel clutch plates that was purchased when replacing all the clutch parts for the fitment of a new Sigma clutch. There was nothing particularly wrong with the old clutch parts but as with a new clutch, I wanted to make it all brand new and replace all the clutch plates etc. Finding the right clutch plates for this model of bike was not hard at all. I used the tools Webike provide in the help section and cross referenced with Yamaha schematics. The price for this clutch steel plate was really good value, especially as you do need a full set which includes various ones. There was only 1 of these steel plates needed. I had these all shipped together so I knew they would all arrive at the same time. This meant, I could crack on and do the full fitment without having to wait. EMS shipped my order and all the parts arrived in 5 days. Everything was very well packaged and there was no chance of any damage. Webike warehouse used a lot of bubble wrap. Great work guys. I do understand why most manufacturers put massive fender eliminators on their bikes from factory. But come on, no one wants a long part hanging off the back of their bike like that. It was decided to get a smaller and more functional eliminator and one we went for was the R&G branded one. I have recently used many o these kits for various bikes from R&G. I found the part by coincidence really whilst browsing through Webike R&G section. This looked a nice small and neat package so went for it anyway. This was added to my basket and order placed along with some other parts to keep the shipping low and spread out for the whole order. All arrived in 5 days. Yes, I suppose I could buy from R&G in the UK but there is relatively no price difference anyway plus, I already had items I wanted to order from Webike anyway. The eliminator or tail tidy as we call them here in the UK was packaged in a R&G box and then Webike packed all my other items in the outer box. Filled with bubble wrap, nothing could get damaged in transit. The tail tidy is a really good looking piece of kit. The paint is smooth and even and there are no sharp sections to catch you out. It is precision made and everything fitted together really easily. It comes with everything you would need for it to be legal on UK roads including the number plate light. The spacing for the indicators is perfect once everything was fitted. Finished in no time, just a couple of connectors and away you go. The harder part was putting everything back together. This came in for a service and needed now front and back pads. It was decided to get the Genuine Kawasaki brake pads all around so I looked on Webike and they had them in stock. Also, with this rear set I purchased the front set too whilst I was at it. Finding the correct ones was pretty easy using the help pages and cross referencing Kawasaki Schematics. The price Webike had the for was very good value for money for genuine Kawasaki pads. With a few other items in my basket, shipping was spread out so was also very reasonable. Took 5 days to arrive here in the UK via EMS. Everything was packed really well and no damage at all. After removing the old pads, they were definitely needed as there was very little left.
