Genuine Yamaha Front Brake Pad Kit for YZF-R1 2002
The YZF-R1 2002 came in for brake pad change and for this reason, as this has already had many pad changes, the customer wanted to keep it standard and stay with the OEM set up for both front and rear pads. Finding the right parts for the job was not tricky as I use Webike help pages and cross reference with Yamaha schematics to make doubly sure. These pads were pretty good value for OEM ones and less than could be sourced locally. I usually have a few other parts ready to ship so this keeps the cost of shipping down. As this was part of a larger brake pad order the price was right. My order arrived via EMS in 5 days from shipping which you simply cannot argue about. My order was well packaged and the pads also came in the standar Yamaha plastic pack. The pads are not really anything special but due to the extreme speeds these bikes can reach, they are surely up for the task. Fitting was easy as the calipers were all ready to accept the pads. One less job, now on to the rears of this bike. Thanks Webike.
These were another part that was for a smaller bike I got in from a customer. This time it is the rear brake pads for the YZF-R6 2001 as the old ones were well beyond their usage. I did not change the rear pads on the last service as they were perfectly good and had a lot of use still in them. Usually on this bike, the front need changing twice as often as the rear anyway. Finding the right ones was easy but checking on Yamaha schematics and then searching for this part number on Webike YZF-R6 model. Luckily, they had a set in their warehouse and so added to my order. EMS shipped my order and all arrived in perfect condition in 5 days from being shipped. Everything was well padded out in the box so there was no damage. These pads are Yamaha pads and do last quite a while, probably longer than these should have as the customer clearly prefers the front brake to the rear. The pad material is even and looks pretty tasty for a small bike. Perhaps not sintered but they do have some heavy compound in them. Very happy customer and thank you once again Webike for doing a great job.View Detail
I have not had the pleasure of this Fino before as it is a new customer but the front pads were not good and had be run with a contaminant between the disc and the pad which made these pads not perform how they should. Good old British weather for you and the grit used. No matter, the pads were easy to find witht eh Yamaha schematics. Webike had these in stock and the price was really competitive. A fair bit cheaper than my locally dealer could match. With some other parts in my order, all were shipped with EMS and arrived in 5 days. The box was packaged really well and nothing got any damage. These pads are a little odd looking but as they are Yamaha ones, I have no issue in putting my faith in them. If I did not like the quality of some parts, I would not fit them. All in all, the customer is really happy with the outcome and now this makes one happy mechanic. Appreciate it, thanks Webike. View Detail
Needed new front a back brake pads and wanted to keep genuine Yamaha ones. Very cheap for the brake pads. They are good and last a long while. Pads are great, look brilliant. Easy to fit them and ready to ride quickly. They are new so need to break in but very happy to have bought genuine.View Detail
This was the second part of the pad change on this old girl, FZ1 2010 bike. As before, I found the correct pads by using the help pages from Webike and then cross referencing Yamaha schematics. Also, checking for superseded parts if there are any. On this occasion, this was the most up to date pad for the bike. The cost of the pads was really good and slightly better than could be sourced locally. I did have a few other sets of pads for other bikes in my order and this meant the shipping cost was lower than if you purchased say one set. Anyway, my order arrived in 5 days from being shipped. EMS was my chosen courier and everything was packed really well. The rear pads for this FZ1 are not particularly special and although the bikes do catch some speed, there are not many who use the rear brake to it's potential. They are really good brake pads for this bike anyway, they had just worn down more than I would have liked so this is why we changed them. Very happy with the final result, great work Webike. This bike came in for a bit of a refresh due to being an off road bike as well as a road bike. It certainly had seen better days. There were various parts that I wanted to refresh during this and this crank case cover gasket 3 was one of them as it had a slight weep. The gasket was easy to find using the tools Webike provide on their help pages. I also cross reference with Yamaha schematics to make sure. I had some other parts for this bike in my order and getting them all shipped together made sense and saved me a little on the shipping too. EMS is my chosen courier and the order arrived very well packaged in 5 days from being shipped. The gasket came in the standard Yamaha packet and was in perfect condition upon arrival. This is a detailed cover gasket but that does not mean it is not a capable gasket. With all Yamaha gaskets like this, I have never had any issues. Fantastic quality and well worth the effort in changing. Every mount point lined up perfectly and this made me very happy. Will be starting this project shortly when I have time to do it all together. Thanks Webike for all your help. View Detail
Yet another small bike with top end issues which resulted in a new cylinder head gasket needing to be replaced. Not a big deal. I found the correct part number from Kawasaki schematics etc. Webike price was really competitive too. A few other parts were needed including the actual cylinder head for this bike and were ordered together by EMS and delivered in 7 days. All my order was delivered with no issues, the gasket was kept flat so not to damage it. This gasket is not a big one but it does have some intricate details that need to be correct to fit the cylinder. You can see it has been manufactured the right way and not cheaped out on it. Top quality part direct from Kawasaki. It is sturdy and has a slight flexibility. All the holes aligned with the fitment and went on pretty easily too. Fitted quickly but precisely along with the cylinder head in just under an hour with everything else put back together. Very pleased with this one, the bike does sound a lot better and I know it will last a fair few years to come. Thanks Webike. View Detail
This was a friends child's bike that needed a good overhaul, especially the cylinder head due to loss of compression. You could probably get it re-honed but that would be more expensive than buying a whole new cylinder head anyway. I found the right cylinder head by using Kawasaki schematics for this model and year of bike. Not too tricky. The searching Webike website to see if they could get stock or already have it. Luckily, this cylinder head does fit a few years of the same model so is available. The price from Webike was excellent and a fraction of what a re-hone would cost. It was shipped suing EMS and had a few other small parts including the cylinder head gasket as I do like to change all together. After arriving in the UK, it was delivered promptly and eventually arrived with me at my door in 7 days. This cylinder head was very well packaged. No damage at all due the amount of padding Webike added. The cylinder head is a really well machined part and there was no excess swarf or shards of metal in or around the cylinder head. This was a top quality Kawasaki part and it needs to be for what job it has. Fitting it relatively easy as long as you take your time. Very pleased with how much compression this little bike now has. A far cry from what it rolled in with. Happy customer, thanks Webike View Detail
Time for a change of air filter for this Z900. This was a part that needed changing on the Z900 bike that came in for a service. The air filter was pretty bad and very dirty which was only having a negative effect on the bike's running. The correct air filter was easy to find using the tools and help section on Webike pages. I also cross referenced with Kawasaki schematics for my own peace of mind. The air filter was really good value and slightly cheaper than I could source locally at my nearest Kawasaki parts dealer. I chose EMS for my courier as they just get my orders delivered fast. 7 days from shipping my order arrived. Everything in the order was extra well packed with bubble wrap for security. The air filter is not a massive one especially for such a large bike but you do need it to fit as it should. The old one had gotten a little funny shaped and was not sitting right and this was the first air filter change from new. This one however, fits perfectly. The air filter came in the usual Kawasaki packaging. The quality is yet to be found, once started up and run for a while. Initial testing though seems as though the filter is allowing the right amount of air through. Good signs there. Fitting was easy, the filter is not doing what it is supposed to do and the bike does sound better for it. Brilliant work Webike. Happy customer. View Detail
I had an issue with the ignition barrel and snapped the key in the process. After a lot of pushing and pulling the key decided to snap, my bad. So I did not have to go and buy a totally new set of locks, I had an old set hanging around and decided I would get the lock set cut with a new key, this is where the new blank key comes in. I could have just got some random generic key but as this is an essential part that needs to work every time, I went for the genuine Kawasaki one as this is an old bike and I wanted to make sure this fitted exactly. The part number was not particularly hard to find and Webike had these available. Win, win. The price was very reasonable and better than could have sourced locally so I just added 2 to the basket to keep as a spare. There were a few other parts in my order and all were shipped with EMS and arrived in 5 days. All my parts were received in perfect condition. The key even came in a small Kawasaki bag which was a nice touch. The key has a really good and solid feel to it. Although it is a blank, the edges are smooth as you would expect. I got the key cut and installed my new/old lock set. All works perfectly and now I can get my seat off. Thank you Webike, great job. View Detail
