HYMEC", MAGURA's hydraulic clutch system, has been standard since it was first used in KTM in 1997. The HYMEC is a bolt-on kit for a compact hydraulic system that replaces a wired clutch lever and wire. The operating oil is MAGURA blood mineral oil, which is friendly to the human body and the environment.(Never use DOT fluid.) The master cylinder of the current model has been updated to the new design 167 type, and the operability and durability have been improved.
[Advantages of replacing a wire clutch with a "HYMEC" clutch] ・The hydraulic system is not affected by the deterioration of the wire, so it is maintenance free and the operating feel is always the same. ・When the clutch plate wears out, the necessary oil is automatically supplied from the reservoir tank, so the operating point of the lever side does not change. ・Easy to pull the lever. ・There is no loss of transmission such as wire stretching, which allows for more direct operation.
The HYMEC has been in development for many years and has been tested in the most demanding off-road motorcycle sports. This product has been used in the bikes of world champions and its effect is recognized by all, but it is also useful for absolute beginners who stall unexpectedly when starting.

The Instruction Manual instructs you to remove the Release Spring in the Clutch cover, but even if you don't go that far, it will be much lighter. If you are going to remove it, order the Gasket from the Dealer before opening the Clutch cover. As for the performance, it is perfect, and Clutch that can only be pulled with four fingers until now is Quantity:It's light enough to be pulled with 2pc fingers and the moderation is nice and hydraulic. However, because the amount of Stroke becomes Small, it becomes a little difficult to put in Neutral.
They do claim to fit the F800S. The F800S has a separate handle, so the quantity of mounting positions can be adjusted.:Pair (for Left and Right) Clearance was too narrow and needed to be modified for Lever installation. Specifically, the Lever holder's Hinge part is too wide to fit between the base of the Separate handle and the SwitchCase, so the screw cannot be tightened and the Lever cannot be fixed. In order to install it without interfering with the SwitchCase, you need to cut the MASTER part of Lever which interferes with the Hinge part and SwitchCase. I used an iron file and shaved the interference part and installed it. It becomes the work that considerable patience and caution are necessary.
