The main jet on my Motorcycle's OEM negative pressure carburetor is not adjustable, it's a Fixed Type! I was disappointed that I couldn't change the number of steps with Clip, and then I found this product! It's great. That's what KITACO is all about. This kind of product gives me hope.
I was disappointed that there were a lot of Parts missing from the carburetor itself, but I was able to reassemble the carburetor safely and reseat the parts that had valleys as a result of adjusting with Shim.
It's hard to understand the product description, but it comes with a 0.3mm/0.6mm thick Shim. In terms of the number of clipping steps, it was about 0.5 steps even if you pile up two of them.
In my case, I stacked them, so I adjusted about 0.9mm.

Restoring the old 2-Stoke 1995 formula Aprilia RS125 and doing Carburetor setting. I started to narrow the main jet, but there are Torque valleys at 5000 rpm and 7000 rpm. Especially 5000 rpm is worse. When using the number of revolutions around here, the Axel opening degree is about 50%.
Setting of Axel opening degree is done with Jet needle. I switched the number of clips before from the top to the 3rd step ⇒ the 2nd step I felt the valley of Torque stopped. If we go further and move to the first row it becomes thin, but even if it becomes too thin it is scary so I bought this KITACO's Needle SIMM set.
This Set has 0. 3 mm and 0. There is a 6 mm Shim one by one. Set the number of Clip stages to the first level, and 0. When 3 mm shim is inserted, exactly 1. It became equivalent to 5 steps. With the trial run by this, the valley of Torque has further broken down.
